Hollywood is a fickle mistress. One day your gay pirate zombie flick is saving Disney, the next you’re handed a life sentence in movie jail because your $250 million fantasy Western somehow didn’t make a billion at the box office. Do we spend this entire episode listing the film’s flaws? Yes. Do we all agree you should still watch it? Yes.

23) Secret Successes PT. II - Vampire's Kiss (1988)

Kit argues that this Cage classic is far more than a font of memes, and the team question Hollywood’s borderline fascist devotion to Stanislavski. Oh, sorry, I must have missed the book of the Bible that declares us all slaves to realism! To quote this fantastic film, "shut up, bitch."

22) Secret Successes PT. I - Sleepaway Camp (1983)

Kit makes her unironic case for this cogent exploration of the agonies of gender. Will having seen only a handful of horror movies in her lifetime stop her from declaring this film’s ending the greatest in slasher history? (Spoiler: it won’t.)

The team does their best to deliver a discussion worthy of this instant classic, which, in addition being essentially perfect, also rescued us all from another Crash-like Best Picture embarrassment.
